Helen Marie Manuel

Ms. Helen Marie Manuel was born August 1, 1965 in Shreveport Louisiana, she was born to Lee Drew Combs Sr. and Ethel Mae Grant-Jiles Manuel.Helen United with Timothy Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Louis D. Sipple, Helen moved her membership to the Rock at Stony Point Church of the Nazarene under the leadership of Dr. Mrs. Lee Ethel Howell, Pastor and continued membership until her departure.

Helen was educated in the KCK school district 500.  Helen completed her childcare development associates, attended Kansas City Kansas Community College and Donnelly Community College. Helen worked at the Rock at Stony Point Learning Center in Kansas City, Kansas for 10 years as a childcare teacher. Helen loved working with young children zero to five years old. Helen was a hard worker, she was dedicated and determined to be on time and she worked hard while being there. You could count on her to do what she said she would do.

Helen was preceded in death by: Her mother Ethel Mae Grant Jiles Manuel, father Lee Drew Combs Sr. brother Terry James Manuel, sister Mary C Penton, brother in law Robin Johnson, Larry Morris Sr. and nephew Curtis Eugene Brockman, Sr.

Helen leaves to cherish her loving memories: Son: Eugene Daniel Brown, Jr.(Shawna) (KCK), daughters: Alexanderia, Tyra; Lees Summit, Missouri, Grandchildren Tarah, Tamari, Jordan, Alaia, Hosea and Marlon. Grandson, Eugene Daniel Brown, III. Brothers: Jimmy Manuel (Keesha) KCK, Lee Drew Combs Jr. (Cynthia) Minden La, Brother in law: Kenneth Penton Sr. Minden LA.Sisters: Dr. Mrs. Lee Ethel Howell (Bryan), KCK Dr. Kathaleen Johnson KCK, Alice K Manuel, (Greg) KCMO, Julie K Manuel KCK Linda Jones (Ray) Helfin, LA, Gloria Morris Minden, LA.,Sheretha Harrison (Willie) Minden, LA.  and Shunda Smith, Minden, LA. Gwendolyn Smith (William), Overland Park, Kansas, Janet Miles (Gerald) Kansas City, Mo.  Step Father, BobbyTownsend, Kansas City, Kansas  Special Nephew and Niece: Twyla, Robert Sr. Larry Jr., Tudi, Kayon.  A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces andnephews,  great- great nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  Special cousin: Delores Gaines
