Laurance M. Caruthers, known as "T'Cher" to many was born August 7th, 1971 in Kansas City, Kansas to Laurance and Gloria Caruthers.
Laurance also known as "Mike" to many grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and attended USD 500 schools, graduating from Washington High School in 1989. After graduating, Mike attended KS State University.
Mike's first job was teaching at Northwest Middle School, KCKS where he taught for 5 years. Mike then took a teaching job working at Kaw Valley. In his later years he worked at General Motors until a job injury interfered with his ability to continue.
At an early age Mike accepted Christ where he attended St. Peters CME church.
Mike was not only truly "LOVED" by his family but by MANY of people. Mike built relationships with all walks in life; no one was ever a stranger to him. Mike spent his past time with family and friends as he was an avid Dart thrower, a Bowler, scoring a perfect 300. Although Mike didn't ride a motorcycle at all, he was a member of the Black Angels, a member of the Moose Lodge and a member of Fire Lights Traveler's Club where at times he thought he was the owner or the security guard... smile.
Mike leaves to cherish his memories: his parents Laurance and Gloria Caruthers, a sister Carmen M. Caruthers, one daughter Brittany R. Leveringston and host of relatives and a host of close friends.
