Patricia Anne Jackson, age 76 passed away on August 28th, 2019 in St. Luke's Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri following a brief illness.  Patricia was fondly known as "Miss Pat".  She was born in Los Angeles, California and lived in Kansas City, Ks.  She was an only child born to King Edwin Maxey and Seleta Reynolds Maxey on July 18th, 1943.  In 1960 she married James E. Johnson, to this union one child, Zondria Johnson was born.  In 1979 she married William Marvin Jackson.  Her parents, and both husbands preceded her in death.

Miss Pat attended school in Dallas, TX and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1961.  She attended Bishop College and pursued a modeling career.  Miss Pat modeled in many high-end venues in many countries and cities, including Paris, Italy, Milan, France and Ontario Canada.  She returned to the State and made her home in Kansas City.  She attended Nelson Beauty College and graduated with honors.  She opened her Beauty Shop "Ayesha's" in Kansas City, Kansas in 1984.

Miss Pat was an avid history buff.  If you came to visit the Kansas City Metro and spent 2 hours with her, she would be sure to take you to see the Quindaro Ruins and other locations where famous people lived.  She had a good memory and could give you intricate historical details.  She liked listening to Gospel and Jazz music and watching Western (Cowboy) Movies.  Her favorite was John Wayne ("The Duke").  Her favorite Gospel song was "The Battle Is Not Yours", sung by Yolanda Adams.  Miss Pat declared that Jesus loves us all but that she was His favorite, because He did so much for her. Miss Pat was an only child and treasured friendships.  She adopted people and made them her Brothers and Sisters, she made the younger people her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved us all.

Miss Pat re-dedicated her life to Christ in January 2017 and attended many different area churches.  She was faithful to attend Church and Sunday School every Sunday.  IN the past she attended Faith Baptist Church, Showers of Blessings and Boone Tabernacle Church of God In Christ.

Miss Pat leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Zondria Johnson; 3 Grandchildren, Eboni Johnson, Bionca Weatherall, Lowell Miller; 4 Great Grandchildren, Xavier Weatherall, Jasmain Johnson, Aniyah Weatherall and Morgan Miller; 1 Great Grandchild, Carlisle Weatherall.  In her adoptive family, she leaves her Brother and Sister Willie and Carolyn Silas; a Sister Monice Silas, a Nephew, Darrin Lynch; Great Grandchildren; Kaziah, Surenity, Desi, and Kayla.  She had many Sisters fostered through her residency at the GOSH House.  She leaves many other loyal friends and loved ones fostered through the Recovery Groups she attended.
