Alecia Francine Scott was born September 3, 1953, in Kansas City, KS. She was the fourth child of Bishop David Scott Sr., and Evangelist Isabella Scott. Both parents preceded her death and a child Daniel L. Scott. Alecia was raised in Kansas City, KS, where at an early age she professes her life to Christ at Guiding Star Missionary Baptist Church. Later on she became a Missionary in the church.
Alecia was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas public school system, attended Douglas Elementary, Northwest Jr. High, and Wyandotte High School. She went on to further her education business administration at Kansas City Kansas Community College. In high school she was a great tennis player. In college Alecia was a fencing champion winning numerous medals along the way.
Alecia worked at the Internal Revenue Services in the early 70's and late 80's. She also worked at Commerce Bank in the mid 70's.
Alecia leaves to cherish her memories: one son Anthony "Tony" Tucker of Kansas City, KS; one granddaughter, Nea Tucker of Kansas City, KS; and one great grandson; 2 brothers, Elder DR. David Scott Jr. (Carol) and Benjamin Scott Sr.,; her very close and special friend, Dechon O'Hara; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, and friends.
