Amiel Jemol MeGee, Jr. also known as "Bubba, Tank, Big Folk, Big O, or Buster" was born March 27th, 1989 to Precious Bell-Gallardo and Amiel Jemol McGee, Sr.
Amiel attended Wichita Public School district where he was a proud 2007 graduate of Wichita Heights High School. Upon completion of high school, Amiel attended Independence Community College located in Independence, Kansas.
As a child "Bubba" was known for his tender heart and caring spirit. He was loved by everyone he encountered. Some of his greatest accomplishments were made on the football field where he in most instances, was the biggest man on the field. He enjoyed the comradery with his coaches and teammates, oftentimes being that extra encouragement to finish strong. He was so excited to receive his athletic letter football. Amiel loved football and was well known on the field. As a young child on the field, he was known as "Big O". His first coach would laugh because he was always afraid of hurting the other kids. He would tackle them and then go over and say, "I'm sorry dude" and help them up. Amiel was a member of the high school All
City Honorable Mention team and went on to play two seasons for the Independence Community College Pirates.
Amiel participated in many ministries as a child at Saint Mark United Methodist Church. Youth leaders remember him most as, "always being willing to worship and do what's right".
Amiel was the proud father to Aaliyah McGee. Becoming a father was the thing he cherished most. He loved his daughter and enjoyed spending time with her. Nothing made him happier. Aaliyah was truly the apple of his eye.
On Monday, April 12th, Amiel left his earthly home. There to meet him was his brother Antonio Bell; maternal grandparents, Doris Bell and Shelbert Washington, Sr. his paternal grandparents, the late Pastor Vickie McDaniel and David McDaniel; his great grandparents, Tom and Justine Bell and Alma Davis.
Amiel leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Aaliyah McGee; Mother, Precious Bell-Gallardo (Alfred); father Amiel McGee, Sr. (Chasity); brothers, Antwan, Lorenzo, Todric and Jace; sisters Montiera, DaShayla, Jasmine, Breanna, Kyeleah, Cortora, Promise, Treazure, PreShawana, Jada and Jaela; nieces Janiya, Aniyla, Brooklyn, Jayci and KaMorie; nephews, Ethik, Aden, Mason, Zayn, Prince, JoJo, and KaMelo; paternal grandparent; Edward McGee; speical aunts; Brenda Bell, Bessie Browne, along with a host of family and friends.
