Anthony Taylor Obituary

Mr. Anthony DeWayne Taylor, Sr. was born February 27th, 1965 to Edroy and Gloria J. Taylor in Kansas City, Kansas.  Anthony was educated thorough the Kansas City, Kansas Public School System and because of his ambition and determination he persevered and received his General Educational Development (GED) from the Kansas City, Kansas Community College.

Anthony was affectionately known as "Grit" and "Big A".  He had a wonderful smile that would turn into a smirk, then out would come his comedy that would make you laugh.

Anthony never met a stranger and he had a personality that made everyone that came in his path remember him.  He embraced his life and live it unapologetically.

He loved working on cars and took pride in being a "jack of all trades and a master of none".    ....But he would swear he was a "Pro".

Some of his many pleasures in life included playing Chess, Spades, Dominoes and Racing.  He loved people and everyone loved him.  His big hearty laugh would make you laugh too.  Everyone would brace themselves whenever he showed up because we all knew we were in for one of his sweaty hugs and big kisses.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, sister- Jannnette Taylor-Brantley and brother- Donald Taylor.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Corey Taylor, seven biological children: Dontay, Gloria, Antoinette, Preston, Ashley, Aries and Anthony Jr. Two non-biological daughters- Keisha Davis and Jessica Smith.

23 grandchildren and one (1) on the way.  One Godson - Jabrah Kane.

Also cherishing his memory are his siblings: Kenneth Taylor, Linda Franklin (James), Stanley Taylor (Joyce), Annette Taylor, Thearse Taylor, Michelle Taylor, Brenda Spencer, Betty Robinson, Terry Robinson (all of Kansas City, Kansas. and Debra Gayles of California.
