Charlotte Marie Wilson, was born on October 1st, 1982, to Savannah and Jimmy Nelson, in Hayti, Missouri.
Charlotte was raised in Leavenworth Kansas and lived a life characterized by love, laughter, resilience and an unwavering commitment to spreading joy to others.
A remarkable soul who departed from this world on November 17th, 2023.
From a young age, Charlotte exhibited a strong work ethic, beginning her journey as a hardworking individual at the tender age of fifteen.
Charlotte's commitment to her family was unwavering, she took immense pride in being a loving mother to her four beautiful children: Janaih Wilson, Jeremiah Wilson, Jaivon Wilson and Jaishawn Wilson.
Born with a natural ability to bring smiles to the faces around her, Charlotte had a unique gift for finding humor in even the most challenging situations. No matter the difficulties she faced, she never let it dim her light of her infectious laughter. Her resilience was a testament to her strength and determination, inspiring everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Charlotte's love for fashion and creativity was evident in her passion for sewing clothes. Charlotte had a unique talent for transforming fabrics into beautiful pieces of art. She had a deep passion for singing and a genuine desire to help those around her. Charlotte's generosity knew no bounds. She consistently found ways to meet the needs of others. Her warm and inviting spirit led her to open her home to those in need, providing a haven for friends and strangers alike, and her acts of kindness left a lasting impact on the lives of many.
Charlotte's greatest love was reserved for her children. Her devotion to them and she cherished every moment spent with her beloved family. To know Charlotte was to witness a mother's boundless love and the joy that radiated from the special bond she shared with her children.
As we bid farewell to Charlotte, we celebrate a life that overflowed with love, laughter, resilience and commitment. Though she may have left our physical presence, echoes of her laughter and the warmth of her love will forever be in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace with Jesus, surrounded by the same love that she so freely gave to others.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Nelson, Jr. and her sister Joanna Nelson.
Charlotte is survived by her parents: Jimmy and Savannah Nelson; sisters, Catrina Wilson, Joyce Nelson, Shareka Reed, Ann Nelson, Alberta Nelson, and Sheltel Nelson; brothers, Timmy Wilson, Jermaine Wilson, Jimmy Nelson III, James Nelson, Richard Nelson, and Joel Nelson; daughter, Janaih Wilson; sons, Jeremiah Wilson, Jaivon Wilson and Jaishawn Wilson.
