Mr. Curtis Eugene Brockman, Sr. was born March 29th, 1975, to Jimmy J. Manuel and Joyce Marie Brockman Williams (Willie) and step-father, Wesley Ford. He was educated in the KCK school district.
He united with First Baptist Church, under Pastor Cedric Rowans, Timothy Baptist Church, under Pastor Louis D. Sipple, The Rock @ Stony Point Church of the Nazarene, under Pastor Judy B. Sanders in 2009, and continued membership under Pastor Lee Howell in August 2014 until his departure.
He graduated from St. Mary Community College with his high school diploma, and attended AVTS and received his building maintenance certificate, and he received his OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
Curtis was married to Treveda Brockman for 23 years. They raised Virgil Henderson, Curtis Brockman, Jr., Ty'Tiana Brockman, and Curtis Brockman.
He took pride in his eight grandchildren, Dayona, Jevron, Virgil, Jr., Honesty, Curbre, Janyla, and Curtesty.
Curtis is preceded in death by: his mother, Joyce Brockman Williams; matneral grandmother, Fannie Mae Brockman; paternal grandmother, Ethel Mae Grant-Jiles Manuel; maternal grandfather, William Brockman; maternal grandfather, Javance Dawson; uncle, William Brockman, Jr.; uncle, Nathaniel Brockman; uncle, Terry James Manuel; uncle, Hershel Brockman; and brother,Terry Horton, Sr.
Curtis leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Treveda Beverly Brockman; sons, Virgil Lee Henderson, Curtis Eugene Brockman, Jr. (Breana), Curtis William Eddie Delshaun Brockman; daughter, Ty'Tiana Unique Destiny Marie Brockman; sisters, April Harris, Porsha (Derrick) Talley, T'onne Ford, Lezley Nunez, and Ebony Ford; uncles, Melvin Brockman, and Herbert Brockman; aunties, Emma Washington (Cecil), Mildren Union, Wanda Cunningham, Lee Ethel Howell (Bryan), Kathleen Johnson, Helen Manuel, Alice K. Manuel, Julie K. Manuel, and Linda Jones (Ray); special friend, Virrinda Eferakeya; special nephew, and niece, Stephon and Mikayla; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
