David Brown Sr. Obituary

David Wayne Brown Sr., was presented to this world on February 3, 1948 to Raymond & Mary Lisa Brown in Glasgow, Missouri. David was the 9th child and youngest son born to this union.

David attended Glasgow High School and went to Rolla Jr. Community College where he graduated in 1971.

David was a church going person who was raised in church. David was baptized into Louis Chapel Baptist Church and later joined Greater Temple of Faith.

David was a deeply rooted family man who enjoyed spending time with his family/ His favorite time of the year was Christmas where he would fill up the entire living room with gifts to see the children's faces light up.

David loved playing game in his leisure time. His favorite card game was Spades and David loved dominoes.

David had a heart made of gold and was always the go to man when one was is in need.

David was preceded in death by his parents, three sons; Rance Brown, LaRance Brown Sr., and David Brown Jr., His Siblings; Ann Brown, Gertrude Smith, Inia Payne, John Brown, Roger Brown, Raymond Jr. and Mary Brown, Louise Lewis, Ann Brown as well as a granddaughter Esmerlda Mays.

David Leaves his cherished and treasured memories to his wife Roxie Brown, his children; Tierra Brown, Shawnta Mays, Marvin Mays, David Mays, Norman Williams Sr, Tilmone Williams and Chris Mays, five grandchildren; Norman Williams Jr., Lavonts Williams, Jasmine McKinney, Aliyah Mays, Ryleigh Harlin, Josiah Brown, and LaRance Brown Jr., four sisters; Isabell Terrill, Marquita Henry, Recolia Grayson and Patricia Martin, long time friend; Tilda Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, Cousins, other relatives and friends.
