Earnestine Carvin was born April 1st, 1933 in Mississippi to Jimmy Pippens and Georgia Gordon.
In 1954 she would leave Mississippi for Kansas City, Kansas with the love of her life, Joseph L. Carvin and they were together for 70 years.
Together, they would have 6 children where she would stay at home to care for them, something she dearly loved.
Earnestine was also known as “Big T” or auntie and was the rock of the family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Carvin; her son-in-law, Thomas Washington; and her 3 grandchildren, Charles (Peg) Carvin, Tyshia (Shaka) Carvin, and, Tyrone (Pungin) Jennings.
Earnestine would start her journey to her heavenly home on May 2, 2020.
She leaves to cherish her memories her 6 children, Bobby, Jerry, Laura, Evelyn, Anthony, and Tyrone: 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
