James Taylor

James Taylor was born February 10, 1936 in Memphis, Tennessee to Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Morris Sr. and Effie Mae Taylor. The family moved to Kansas City, Kansas shortly thereafter he moved to California.

James was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas school District and received a degree in Auto Mechanics.

James was a family man and enjoyed his time playing Dominoes, fishing, working on cars and going out to eat.

James was preceded in death by his mother and father; two sisters, Bernice Thomas and Mae Ella; and five brothers, Hugh Jr., LeRoy, Edroy, Ned, and Edd Taylor, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory; one daughter, Tanya Taylor of Long Beach, California; one brother, Frank Taylor of Inglewood, California; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
