Jermel Brown Obituary

Jermel Lamonte Brown transitioned to his heavenly home on August 9, 2020. He was born on April 11, 1983 in Wichita, Kansas to Michelle Squires-Brooks (Larry) and Gerald Brown. Jermel spent the entirety of his childhood, adolescence and teenage years in Wichita. He was carefree, loving and giving, and always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he needed. He was also a great influence to many, but especially his nieces and nephews who adored him so.

Jermel served in the United States Air Fore for six years, and was honorably discharged after his distinguished service. Jermel and his kindred spirit will be dearly missed. He will continue to live on in the lives of many that he made an impact on.

Jermel was predeceased by his brother Tyron.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Michelle Squires-Brooks (Larry) and his father Gerald Brown; siblings, Arresha (Chris), LaQuanda, Nakesha, LeShae, Dominic and Dontrae; grandparents, Ruth and Otis Squires, Jr.; his nieces, Aniyah, LeAysia, Arreanna, Ty'Reona, Amerie, Du'Riyah, Kemistry, and Ryleigh; nephews, Trayvon, Josiah, Dashone, Tyron Jr., Ziyon, Kemper, and Kaleb; best friends; Sandy, Shanae, Shatara, Taneisha. Also, a host of aunts, uncles, additional family and friends that will miss Jermel dearly.
