Keysean L. Perkins Jr

 KJ was born on July 15, 2020 at 6:39 P.M. He weighed 1 pound, 6.2 ounces and was born at twenty-three weeks and three days. During the time KJ was here he was a happy baby. Although he was going through a lot, he still made sure he showed us love. Any time we walked into his room, he knew and would start kicking his little feet and extended his arm like he was reaching for us. During care times, even though it was hard for him to open his eyes, he always made sure he did it to see his parents. KJ always interacted with us regardless of what pain he was in. He was a true warrior and stayed strong the whole time. He was a very smart baby also. KJ was very alert, he knew the difference between me and his dad’s touch; he was very stubborn at times. KJ knew when I would be trying to take pictures when his eyes were open and he would purposely close them, every time. Our baby fought hard, he wanted to be here, but it was hard
