Mrs. Lacerine (Lacy) Hunter Riley was born to Jettie Hunter and Odie Mae Walker on March 3rd, 1934 in Sparkman, Arkansas.

At an early age she and her mother moved to Kansas City, Kansas. Lacerine and her mother began attending services at the Eight Street Baptist Church.

On March 7th, 1946, at the age of 12, Lacerine joined the Eight Street Baptist family making JESUS CHRIST her personal LORD & SAVIOR, being baptized by Pastor Dr. I. H.
