Ms. Loria Anderson, 92 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away peacefully on November 12th, 2023, in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Loria was born in Kansas City, Kansas on August 25th, 1931 to the union of John and Anna Mallard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Herman Anderson, son Gregory Anderson, sisters, and brothers.
Loria received her education from catholic school, KCK public schools, and Johnson County Community College. She was a licensed real estate broker. She also made gargoyles for St. Paul's Church; "grinning" gargoyles to be exact; this was to raise money for the church's charitable food programs.
Loria was a faithful member of Our Lady and St. Rose Catholic Church. She was an extraordinary minister of communion for many years. She also visited the homeland. Loria loved to serve, family and others where needed.
She helped form the neighborhood committee. Loria worked where needed and no one had to ask. She was a volunteer for Hot Lunch Inc. and was on the board for over 30 years. She loved helping others.
She and her late husband, Herman loved to fish, travel, and entertain in their home.
Loria leaves to cherish her precious memories a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
