He received his High School Diploma in the State of Iowa. He later moved to Kansas City, Kansas where he resided with His father. Marquis worked a a warehouse worker and forklift Driver.

Marquis enjoyed playing basketball, chest, music, clothing, and dominos.

Marquis leaves to cherish his precious memories, his father: Stanley M. Taylor, Sr. (Joyce) Kansas City, Kansas. His mother: Yana Joe Perry; Des Moines, Iowa; three children: Zathtavia Keeling Taylor, Chinarose Bedger and Alijah Fagen. Siblings Tyesha Jackson; Des Moines, Iowa; Stanley M. Taylor, Jr., Kansas City, Kansas: Crystal Faye Taylor; North Kansas City, Missouri: Lorenzo Lee Taylor; Las Vegas, Nevada; Dominique Looney, Omaha, Nebraska; Camero Taylor, Kansas City, Kansas; Devron Spotsman; Leavenworth, Kansas, and Atavis Shanklin, Kansas City, Kansas.
