May Frances (Mckinney) Young

May Frances Young, 78, was born October 23rd, 1946 to the union of John McKinney and Mary Green. Both parents, husband Solomon Young, and son Stephen Darnell Young preceded her in death.

May Frances was the last living sibling of 13. She graduated from Sumner Academy High School Class of "65" in Kansas City, Kansas.

May Frances was united in marriage to Solomon Young on March 5th, 1967. To this union three children were born, Solomon Derrick II, Stephen Darnell and Mary Ann.

May Frances was born and raised in church attending St. John's Temple Church, led under Elder John Hanna. Then later became a faithful member of Greater Pentecostal Temple, led under Bishop Marvin E. Donaldson for over 30 years until she became ill.

May Frances was known for being very family oriented as well as a homemaker, raising her children and grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son Solomon D. Young II (Shahnaz) of Olathe, Kansas, one daughter Mary Ann Seay (Andrew) of Kansas City, Kansas, one granddaughter Marlayna, and 5 grandsons, Natejon, Solomon III, Stephen, Marquise and Germai, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.
