Patty Johnson Obituary

Patty Lou Johnson was born to Clyde and Verona Jackson November 12, 1933, in Oklahoma City, OK. She attended Oklahoma Public Schools. After graduating from Douglas High School, she attended Langston University. Patty professed Christ and was Baptized at an early age. She was a choir member and served in the Woman's Work department. She was a faithful member of Church of The Living God until her death.

Patty moved to Wichita in 1954 where she met and married Raymond L. Johnson in 1958. To this unison three children were born. She was a loving mother to her children and cherished her grand and great grandchildren. She worked at Cessna and Raytheon aircraft plants for several years before retiring. Patty was always on the go and loved wearing hats, thrifting, and taking water Tabata classes at the YMCA.

Patty is proceeded in death by her parents, husband Raymond Johnson and son Kevin Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memories: sister, Mae Dell Jackson of Oklahoma City, OK; daughters, LaTonya Barnett and Yvette Johnson (Kermit) of Wichita, KS; Grandchildren: Robert Johnson Jr, Camille Turnetine (Michael), BreAhnna Roberts (Antonio), Kevin T. Johnson (Danielle) all of Wichita, KS, Tyniesha Rivera (Julio), LaTosha Johnson of Dallas, TX, Daniel Johnson of Houston of Houston, TX, Blake  Edwards of Atlanta, GA, Aaron Johnson of Fresno, California; 13 great grandchildren; niece Portia K. Trotter of Oklahoma City, OK; great niece Tamera Jennings (Reginald) of Lorton, VA; and a host of relatives and friends.

Her love, kindness, and generosity will greatly be missed.
