Phillip Lambert Jr. Obituary

Phillip Lambert, Jr. was born to Phillip A. Lambert, Sr. and Dorothy Lambert-Dale on January 7, 1961 in Kansas City, Kansas. He accepted Jesus Christ into his heart at an early age and joined and served at First Baptist Church of Kansas City, Kansas.

He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Southeast High School where he was a member of the ROTC and went on to Longview College. He loved going to school and received over "twenty" Certificates after graduating college with his Bachelor of Science Degree.

Phillip worked as a Travelling Photographer for Venture Store Enterprises and took photographs all over Kansas and Missouri. He worked at Western Electric. Afterwords, he moved to California and worked for 23 years on airplanes at Hughes and Raceon Aircraft both owned by General Motors.

Phillip was a very loving, caring and generous person! While om California, he bought an extremely lovely home for his wife and two daughters. He loved to travel going to Hawaii and other places and taking his family. He took his children on the trip of their life on The Disney Cruise. He loved to dance the two step joining the Two Step Dance Club and danced in different states all over the United States. He loved to skate, play dominoes and hang around with his cousins.

Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Lambert, Sr. his Uncle William and his grandparents: Odell and Ella Lambert and Wilson and Mabel Batts and a host of other close relatives.

Phillip is survived by his children: Kanisha and Brianna Lambert, his mother Dorothy Lambert-Dale, his brother Roderick Lambert (Lisa) and family, and other close family members, friends and relatives. Darryl Batts was a constant visitor and comforter of Phillip, his first cousin, during his entire hospitalization.
