Tamara C. Boswell, 38, lovingly known as "Toot" of Kansas City KS passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Providence Medical Center. Tamara was born March 17, 1983 to Brenda J. McCluney and Marvin Boswell.
Tamara was raised by a very special loving man Henry L. Davis Jr, who gave her the nickname "Toot".
Tamara grew up in Kansas City Kansas, where she attended Quindaro Elementary School, Northwest Middle School and was a 2001 graduate of Wyandotte High School.
Tamara accepted Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church of Quindaro, Kansas City KS, under the leadership of Rev. Stacey E. Hopkins.
She was a loving daughter, sister, cousin, niece and friend, but most of all a loving Aunt to her niece TaNiya (Binka) Davis and nephew Vincent (Vin-lee) Davis Jr. Tamara was a piano player, poem writer and was starting to write children's books, but most of all she loved her SPADES.
She is preceded in death by her Father Henry L. Davis Jr., maternal grandparents Roger and Zelma McCluney, paternal grandfather Henry L. Davis Sr., her Aunts Constance McCluney, Wanda McCluney, Uncles Roger McCluney Jr, Howard McCluney, Brother Marvin Jefferson and Close Friend Charlie Turner.
Tamara is survived by her Mother Brenda J. McCluney of Kansas City, KS., Brothers, Vincent Davis Sr. (Tyeasha) of Kansas City, MO., Martino Darthard of Kansas City, MO., Brian Houston of Kansas City KS., Sisters, Andrea Quinn, Latoya Quinn of Kansas City, KS., Fiance, Cortez Armstrong, Godmother, Deborah Jones of Kansas City, MO., her three favorite Cousins, Briana Washington (Robert) of Overland Park, KS., Michael McCluney Jr. of Kansas City, KS., and Andy (Seif) Dockery, her Best Friends, Lakesia Goodwin and Deedra Bassett of Kansas City, KS., and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Godchildren and many, many, Friends.
