Terry Lee Dean (Teckniq) was born June 28, 1965 in Wichita, Kansas to Ronald Douglas Dean Sr. and Mattie Mae Dean. Terry was the youngest of six children. On June 9, 2020 Terry joined a host of angels who preceded him in death - his father Ronald Douglas Dean Sr., his mother Mattie Mae Dean and his sister Shirley Ann Dean.

Terry graduated from Wichita East High School in 1983. He earned a Master of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management & Leadership from Friends University and an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Butler County Community College.

Terry worked for Boeing Aircraft for 16 years and served in the US Army National Guard Reserve for 6 years. Terry's ministry was teaching, coaching and mentoring the youth. He worked at Youthville (Wichita, KS) in his early years before moving on to teaching at a host of different schools and coaching little league and high school football and basketball. He continued his service to the community in Decatur, Georgia as a teacher at Druid Hills Middle School and High School, where he also served as the basketball and football coach.

Terry leaves to cherish his memory: Son Anthony Stromberg (Isa) of Fayetteville, NC; Daughters Javonna Dean and Terrionna Dean of Wichita, KS; Son LeCoreon Dean of Jacksonville, FL; Sisters Brenda Thompson (Robert), Barbara Tippery and Kimberlene Butler all of Wichita, KS; Brother Ronald Dean Jr (MaShelle) of Atlanta, GA; Bonus Son Cortez Kiel of Wichita, KS; Bonus Daughters Markevia Mincey (Jeremy) of Atlanta, GA, Canesha Gray and Saphiar Taylor of Jacksonville, FL. Also 8 grandchildren, 3 bonus grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Terry loved to sing, loved working with the youth, loved his children and loved the Lord. We can see him now in Heaven singing with the Angels, keeping the youth in check and talking scripture with God.

Terry you left an incredible mark on everyone that crossed your path. We love and miss you!
